On April 9, Senior Celebration was hosted at the Main Event in Fort Worth following prom. The doors opened at midnight, the attending students and guests had to have arrived and signed in before 12:30. They could not leave or get checked out before 3 a.m., but after they could check themselves out.

This event was hosted by the class of ‘22 parents, also known as the booster club.

“It was different because we were locked in with our graduating class and we have never gotten that opportunity before,” senior Maddie Mandl said.

The booster club has been fundraising for the past four years to make this night memorable for the senior class.

“We have sold shirts, worked concession stands, and students worked the Festival of Lights downtown,” fundraising parent Heather Crow said.

Students were able to bowl, play laser tag, pool, and participate in hypnosis with Jonathan Yeager.

“The hypnosis portion was very unexpected, but incredibly fun. Getting to experience such a unique event and being hypnotized was definitely the highlight of my night.” Junior Miguel Sesmas said.

Parents, teachers and administrators were there as chaperones, where they switched shifts throughout the night.

“I did talk to Dr. Porter and he was there ready to beat anyone at bowling,” Crow said.

Prizes were given out throughout the night to seniors. Some students won desk sets, a TV, and various other items. Almost every senior student left with a prize.

“I was happy to create a lot of memories with all my friends and people that I have become close with throughout high school,” Mandl said.
