Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder’s 2017 superhero film, “The Justice League”, returned with an even newer film. Recently released on HBO Max, “The Justice League: The Snyder Cut,” has caught many DC fans’ attention. The film was re-released in order to satisfy Snyder’s standards. With a running time of nearly two extra hours, certain scenes were remade, and originally deleted scenes were added to introduce everyone to a new idea of the film. So the question is, what is so great about it?

What I really like about the film is how well made it is. Upon looking at the screen, I could tell that the creators of the movie took their time perfecting the graphics and effects. Although many modern-day films are known to have cutting-edge graphics, the movie really takes the cake. Battle scenes have been improved majorly since the theatrical release. In the theatrical release, it appeared as though the battle graphics were created in a rush. The creators of the film were very precise with the implementation of better graphics.

Another thing I was very impressed with was the close attention to detail to individual characters, this includes their overall suit/costume design, and their backstories. A character known as ‘The Flash’ made his appearance once again in the Snyder Cut much like the 2017 release, but the creators altered the story to where he made a big impact in the story, which is something I was happy with. Another character known as ‘Cyborg’, originally a member of the ‘Teen Titans’ (a spinoff in the DC universe), made a big impact in the movie as well. Throughout the movie, I noticed that he had major character development, starting as afraid and depressed and ending with courage and integrity. Many familiar DC characters from comics and other films made their appearances as well, which is something I have not seen in other comic-based movies. Overall, Zack Snyder brought upon extra recognition to characters that were well needed.

If there was a rating system that ranged from 0 out of 5, I would entirely rate it a 5. Not once did I lose interest. If you are interested in an action-packed superhero movie, I recommend this to you, and any others who you believe might be interested as well.
