TCU’s season has finally come to an end, and to say it was an eventful one is an understatement.
The start of their winning streak started against the Colorado Buffaloes in which they won 38-13. This winning streak would continue until their game against the Kansas State Wildcats.
The Horned Frogs put up a tough fight against the Wildcats, but ultimately, Kansas State took the win. This was an incredibly close game though, the Horned Frogs lost by a mere three points. The final standing was 31-28.
TCU would later redeem itself against Michigan State. The frogs took the lead during the first quarter with 14 points and ended the game with 51. The final standings for that game were 51-45. This win against Michigan got TCU an invite to the National Championship against Georgia.
An invite to the CFP (College Football Playoff) Championship is no easy feat. The last time TCU was invited and won was in 1938. With this in mind, Texas was more than excited.
Georgia vs. TCU was a difficult game for the team with a saddening loss of 7-65. Although they had lost, fans were still supportive of the Frogs.
Communities came together and celebrated their invite and game with unmatched support. This support continues all the way up to the game with Texans even flying all the way to California.
